16th Annual RaceFest Information

SHIRLEY MULDOWNEY TO HEADLINE 16TH ANNUAL RACEFEST

Joliet, IL The “First Lady of Drag Racing” Shirley Muldowney will headline the 16th Annual RaceFest, to benefit the Mike Guglielmucci Sr. Racers Benevolent Fund, at the Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday, April 17, 2010.

Muldowney a 3-time NHRA Top Fuel World Champion will join former ESPN Speedworld and ESPN2’s Thursday Night and Saturday Night Thunder color commentator Gary Lee, former ARDC midget champion and Super Vee pilot Bob Cicconi and 1995 Chili Bowl winner and Indy Car driver Donnie Beechler at the event.

The event, will be held once again this year in the Sprint Cup garages of Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois. Tickets for the event are $30.00, which includes a buffet dinner, open Budweiser and 7UP taps, Autographs, Live and Silent Auctions, Raffles, Sprint Car simulators and live entertainment from 9 –11 by the band “Life Is Drama”.
